KATHMANDU: TVS Motor Company plans to launch the first Norton Motorcycle in India by April 2026, marking its entry into the country’s premium superbike market.

According to CEO K. N. Radhakrishnan, the company will unveil new Norton models at EICMA 2025 in Italy on November 4. The lineup will include the V4 superbike (available in Manx and Manx R variants) and a new middleweight adventure bike, the Atlas.

TVS will launch four new Norton models globally within this financial year, with production set to begin by the end of the fiscal year and global deliveries expected in summer 2026.

TVS acquired the British brand Norton Motorcycles in 2020 for around USD 18 million to strengthen its global presence, especially in Europe and North America. The company is also developing a separate retail and distribution strategy for Norton and premium TVS models in India.

Norton’s UK headquarters in Solihull is being upgraded with an investment of over USD 250 million to support new model production. Its workforce has grown by about 25 percent since early 2025.

With Norton, TVS aims to expand its reach in the premium motorcycle segment, combining British engineering with TVS’s global network. The brand’s relaunch aligns with TVS’s strategy to attract high-end buyers both in India and abroad, according to Autocar.
