KATHMANDU: Buyers can get benefits of up to Rs 1 million on electric cars ahead of the upcoming budget. CG Motors, the authorized distributor of Aion in Nepal, has announced this scheme on the Aion Y model.
The company has started the “Maha Mela Exchange Carnival” at Bhrikutimandap from May 20. The scheme includes multiple offers on Aion vehicles.
Customers can get attractive cash discounts on the Aion Y. Exchange bonus is also available on any brand of old car. The offer also includes a 7kW home charger, easy financing, one-year insurance, and road tax covered by the company.
The exchange carnival will run until May 25. Buyers of 2024 models will get additional discounts. The Aion Y is available in two battery options in Nepal. The standard version gets a 62 kWh battery. The long-range version comes with a 75 kWh battery.
The 62 kWh variant is priced at Rs 6.499 million. The 75 kWh long-range variant costs Rs 6.999 million. The model is known for its design and feature-rich cabin. It comes with multiple tech features including AI-based cockpit and ADiGO Sense system.
It also offers 8-point massage seats and an in-built refrigerator. These features give it an edge over rivals. The Aion Y uses a 100 kW motor. It is 4605 mm long with a 2775 mm wheelbase. Ground clearance is 175 mm.
