KATHMANDU: Changan’s EV brand Deepal has started accepting pre-orders for its new L06 electric sedan in China. Positioned as a mid-size model, it is priced between USD 19,200 and USD 22,200.
The L06 comes with several advanced features, including LiDAR as standard across all variants and the world’s first 3nm automotive-grade cockpit chip. It also gets magnetorheological suspension for improved ride comfort.
The car will be available in four variants, offering two battery options 56.12 kWh and 68.82 kWh providing driving ranges of 560 km and 670 km, respectively. Power comes from a 200 kW (268 hp) electric motor.
In terms of design, the L06 follows Deepal’s latest styling theme with a simple and elegant front look. The car is 4,830 mm long, 1,905 mm wide, and 1,480 mm tall, with a 2,900 mm wheelbase.

At the back, it features a slight “ducktail” spoiler, a full-width LED light strip, and a sporty-looking diffuser.
Inside, the L06 has a clean T-shaped dashboard with a large central touchscreen and a 50-inch AR head-up display. The three-spoke steering wheel includes both scroll and button controls, making it easy to use while driving.

The main highlight of the L06 is its new 3nm cockpit chip developed by MediaTek. The Tianji Cabin S1 Ultra chip brings powerful performance with built-in AI features.
It can handle advanced graphics, voice assistants, and driver-assist functions while supporting multiple high-resolution screens and sensors at the same time.

With this advanced chip, along with its modern design and long driving range, the Deepal L06 aims to offer a smart, comfortable, and premium experience in the mid-size EV category.
