KATHMANDU: Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the new Glamour X 125 motorcycle in the Indian market. With this, Hero has become the first company to introduce cruise control in the 125cc segment.
The Glamour X 125 comes in two versions—Drum and Disc. The Drum version is priced at 89,999 Indian rupees (ex-showroom), while the Disc version costs 99,999 Indian rupees (ex-showroom), according to Indian media reports.
The motorcycle is powered by a 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled Sprint EBT engine, capable of generating 11.4 bhp and 10.5 Nm of torque. The company has equipped the bike with a balancer shaft and a silent cam chain to enhance riding experience.
The Glamour X 125 is available in five color options.
The Glamour X 125 comes with a fully digital LCD cluster offering Bluetooth connectivity and more than 60 functions like turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, panic brake alert, gear indicator, fuel efficiency data and range-to-empty display, and brightness adjustment system.
The bike also has full LED lighting and also has a type-C charging port.
Hero has also provided a range of practical add-ons like under-seat storage, long handlebar, backrest, knuckle guards, tank knee pads, short windscreen, engine guard, fender extensions, a new bass-heavy signature exhaust, single-piece pillion seat, nylon-grip tires, alloy wheels, telescopic front forks and a five-step adjustable hydraulic rear shock absorber.
The Glamour X 125 is available in five color options.
