India provides 15 units of Curvv EV for Sagarmatha Sambad

KATHMANDU: The Government of India has provided 15 electric vehicles (EVs) to Nepal for use during the Sagarmatha Sambad scheduled to be held in Kathmandu on May 16-18.

Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, handed over the vehicles to Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Arzu Rana Deuba amid a ceremony held at the foreign ministry on Sunday.

The vehicles provided by India are the Curvv EV, manufactured by Tata Motors. Curvv EV is the latest EV model launched by the Indian automobile major.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Rana expressed gratitude to the Government of India for the support provided for the Sagarmatha Sambad.

Likewise, Ambassador Srivastava expressed delight at providing vehicles for the Sagarmatha Sambad. He also expressed India’s commitment to supporting in Nepal’s economic and social development.
