Mahindra announces BE6 and XEV9e e-SUVs price in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Agni Incorporated, Mahindra’s official distributor has announced the arrival of two electric SUVs, the BE6 and XEV9e in Nepal.

The company released the price details of both models ahead of their official launch.

The Mahindra BE6 will be available in two variants. The version with a 59 kWh battery is priced at Rs 7.63 million, while the 79 kWh battery variant is set at Rs 8.38 million.

Both variants come equipped with a 99 kW rear mounted electric motor and will be offered in top-spec feature-loaded trims ‘Pack Three’.

Similarly, the XEV9e will also be available in two motor options 99 kW and 199 kW. The mid variant ‘Pack Two’, which features a 59 kWh battery, is priced at Rs 7.76 million. The top variant ‘Pack three’, with a more powerful 199 kW motor and a larger 79 kWh battery, is priced at Rs 8.72 million.

Agni Incorporated plans to officially showcase these electric SUVs at the upcoming NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025.

For now, a limited number of units have been brought to Nepal for testing purposes.

Although Mahindra has not yet opened bookings for the BE6 and XEV9e in Nepal, interested buyers should note that the current prices are subject to change. If the government revises the tax structure on EVs in the upcoming fiscal year budget, which is set to be announced on May 29, the final retail prices may be adjusted accordingly.
