KATHMANDU: Mercedes-AMG has revealed the interior of its upcoming all-electric Mercedes AMG GT 4 Door Coupe, previewing a production model inspired by the earlier Mercedes AMG GT XX Concept.

The next-generation performance sedan features a fully digital dashboard with a triple-screen layout. It includes a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and two 14-inch displays for infotainment and passenger entertainment.

The central touchscreen is slightly angled towards the driver to create a cockpit-style layout.

Compared with the previous V8-powered model, the new electric AMG sedan uses fewer physical buttons, with most climate and vehicle controls integrated into the central display.

However, the center console retains three rotary controllers for adjusting electric motor response, traction control levels, and handling settings.

The interior also includes a rear climate control display for passengers and supports both four-seat and optional five-seat configurations. The rear seats can fold down to improve cargo space, while the liftback body design continues from the previous generation.

The electric GT 4-Door Coupe is expected to use a triple-motor powertrain producing up to 1,341 hp, based on specifications from the GT XX concept. The system could deliver a top speed above 360 km/h and support ultra-fast charging of more than 850 kW, allowing around 400 km of range to be added in about five minutes under ideal conditions.

Mercedes Benz is expected to launch the new electric AMG GT 4-Door Coupe before the end of 2026, with an SUV using the same performance hardware planned to follow later.
