KATHMANDU: The NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, in collaboration with the Enhanced Skills for Sustainable and Rewarding Employment (ENSSURE) Project, conducted a two-day training on occupational safety and health for people involved in the automotive industry in Kathmandu on May 7-8.
A total of 20 participants from 12 member companies of NADA participated in the training.
The objective of the training was to raise awareness and improve practices related to safety, health and wellbeing in automobile workshops, according to NADA.
The training covered topics such as risk management, workplace hazards, prevention strategies and promoting a culture of safety within the automobile industry.
Dinesh Prasad Sah, a leading expert in occupational safety and health in Nepal, conducted the training.
NADA and the ENSSURE Project have been jointly organizing training sessions on various automobile-related topics as part of NADA’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts for the past two years.
NADA Treasurer Milan Babu Malla and Sanjeev Kumar Rai, Deputy Team Leader of the ENSSURE Project distributed certificates to the participants.
