Nammi 06 electric SUV lands in Nepal, set for NADA Auto Show 2025

KATHMANDU: The second model under the Nammi brand, part of the Dongfeng Group, has arrived in Nepal. MAW Vriddhi, the official distributor, has brought the new Nammi 06 electric SUV to Kathmandu.

The company had earlier introduced the Nammi 01 hatchback. Now, it is preparing to showcase the Nammi 06 at the upcoming NADA Auto Show 2025.

“Our vehicle is already in Kathmandu. As it is a new model, we are currently carrying out testing and other procedures. We plan to display it at the NADA show,” a company source shared.

The Nammi 06 will be available in three variants E1, E2 and E2 Plus. The E1 and E2 come with a 44.94 kWh battery, while the E2 Plus gets a larger 51.87 kWh battery.

For customs reference, the E1 variant is listed at Rs 5.799 million, the E2 at Rs 6.099 million and the E2 Plus at Rs 6.299 million. However, the company expects the actual retail price to be lower.

In terms of size, the Nammi 06 measures 4,306 mm in length and 1,868 mm in width. It stands 1,645 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2,715 mm. These dimensions support both comfort and convenient parking.

The SUV features T-shaped LED headlamps, a split tailgate and a clean, minimalist cabin. It is equipped with a 12.8-inch infotainment screen, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging and ventilated seats with massage function.

Other highlights include ADAS features, foldable rear seats, a panoramic sunroof and 128-color ambient lighting. The two-spoke steering wheel and leather seats add a premium touch.
