Yamaha FZ-Rave launched in India

KATHMANDU: Yamaha has launched the FZ-Rave in India at an introductory price of 117,218 Indian rupee (ex-showroom).

The FZ-Rave has been positioned as an affordable model in the FZ range, which also includes the FZ and FZ-S. It gets a smaller LCD instrument console and single-channel ABS.

The motorcycle features a sporty LED headlamp, a muscular fuel tank, a single-piece seat, and an LED taillight. It rides on red alloy wheels and is available in two color options: Matte Titan and Metallic Black.

Powering the FZ-Rave is a 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 12.2 BHP and 13.3 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

The suspension setup includes a telescopic fork at the front and a mono-shock at the rear, while braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends.
