KATHMANDU: Chinese electric vehicle maker XPENG is set to expand its global footprint, with plans to enter 60 countries and open more than 300 service points worldwide by the end of this year.
Founded in 2014, the company has built its reputation on rapid charging, intelligent driving systems, and advanced EV technology. CEO He Xiaopeng said XPENG expects half of its sales to come from international markets by 2033.
In Nepal, the expansion is expected to bring improved service reliability, faster technology updates and access to the same global EV standards available in Europe and Asia.
CG Motors, the official distributor of XPENG, oversees sales, showrooms and after-sales services in the country.
With models such as the XPENG G6, the brand is positioning itself as a key player in Nepal’s growing electric mobility market.
